Phoebe Organizational Insights, LLC (“Phoebe,” “us,” “we” or “our”) values and respects the privacy of the visitors, clients, and users of its websites and its services (individually, “you”) and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information that we may collect from you or that you may provide to us when you visit or use our website at www.phoebeinsights.com and any related subdomains and their pages, our mobile applications (collectively, our “Website”), or any of our services that are made available through our Website and mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”).
The Privacy Policy also applies to information we collect from:
- Survey Respondent(s): the data subjects responding to a survey administered through our Services.
- Phoebe Administrator(s): the persons responsible for administering the Services to Survey Respondents on behalf of the Phoebe Client (defined herein).
- Phoebe Client(s): the Phoebe corporate customer or client which is the data controller responsible for contracting with us to provide the Services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by:
- Us offline or through any other means, including any other website operated by our affiliates and subsidiaries; or
- Any unaffiliated third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on our Services.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices with respect to your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your only recourse is to stop using our Services. By accessing or using our Services, including our Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change over time. 1. Information We Receive or Collect from You
To provide you with our products and services, we collect several types of information from and about you when you visit our Website or use our Services, including, but not limited to, “Personal Information” that identifies, relates to, describes, or can be used to contact, or could reasonably be linked directly or indirectly to you. Examples of the categories of Personal Information we collect directly from you as you visit or interact with our Services include, but are not limited to, the following types information:
- Contact Information: When you contact us via email or through our Website, you may provide us, and we may collect, certain Contact Information, including your name, email address, location, and telephone number. We collect and keep records or copies of your correspondence, if you contact us, so that we may better serve you.
- Payment and Account Information: If you are an account holder or Phoebe Administrator, you may provide us with transaction and activity information about your purchased Services and/or account; your billing records, including your payment card number; and your interactions with our customer service and/or technical support representatives over the telephone, email, or through online chat.
- Survey Responses: If you respond to a survey administered via our Services as a Survey Respondent, we may collect information about you in connection with such responses on behalf of the Phoebe Client. Such information may include but is not limited to the following: Contact Information; your job title; demographic information such as your gender, age, and location; your preferences and interests; and any other relevant information.
2. Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies
As you navigate and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect and generate certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:
- Details about your visits to our Services, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on our Services.
- Information about your computer or device’s Internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type when you use or access our Services.
The information we collect automatically helps us improve our Services and deliver a better and more personalized service. The technologies that we use for this automatic data collection may include:

Similarly, some content or applications available on our Services are served by third parties, including content providers and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies (if any) or how they may be used. 4. Persons Under the Age of 18
Our products and Services are intended for individuals 18 years or older. No one under age 18 may provide any information to or through the Services. We do not knowing collect information from persons under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information through our Services or through any of its features, or make any purchases through the Website. If we learn that we have collected or received information from a person under 18, we will delete that information. 5. How We Use Information We Receive or Collect About You
We use the information that we collect about you or that you provide to us for one or more of the following business or commercial purposes:
- To present our Services and their contents to you.
- To provide and improve our products and services, and to develop new products and services.
- To communicate with you about your use of our products and services, and to send you information that you requested or agreed to receive.
- To send you marketing communications about offers, promotions, upcoming events, and other news about products and services offered by us that we believe you would be interested in, as permitted by law.
- To notify you about changes to our Services.
- To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
6. How We Share Information We Receive or Collect from You with Others
We value your privacy and do not sell or share your Personal Information with unaffiliated third parties for their own uses or marketing purposes, except as described below. We may disclose information we collected about you or that you provided, as described in this Privacy Policy, as follows:
- With your consent.
- With our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- With the Phoebe Administrator and Phoebe Client. If you are Survey Respondent, we will collect your Survey Responses and provide them directly to the Phoebe Administrator and the Phoebe Client. Unless we notify you before you respond to a particular survey, we will provide your Survey Response without directly identifying you to the applicable Phoebe Client; however, please be advised that, it is possible that the Phoebe Client may be able to determine your identity based on the information you include in your Survey Responses. The Phoebe Client may use and disclose your Survey Responses as they so choose, subject to the terms of their respective agreements with us.
- With third parties, including other Phoebe Clients, to enhance the effectiveness of our Services and for industry research and analysis, demographic profiling, benchmarking, and other similar purposes. Under this circumstance, such data will be made up of aggregated, non-directly identifying user or organizational information that is then shared for the purpose enabling other Phoebe Clients to compare their organization’s metrics and survey response rates with other organizations of similar size and/or industry.
- With contractors, service providers, vendors and other third parties that we use to support our business and who perform services or functions on our behalf (collectively, “Service Providers”). Examples of our Service Providers include but are not limited to: (i) merchant banks and payment processors for credit and debit card transactions, (ii) collection agencies, and (iii) customer service companies.
- With a buyer or our successor in interest in the event of a corporate reorganization, restructuring, merger, divestiture, dissolution, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or other similar proceeding, in which information held by us about our products and users is among the assets transferred.
- In order to (i) comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request; (ii) protect or defend the legal rights or property of ours, or the legal rights of our business partners, employees, agents, and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements and terms of service); (iii) protect the safety and security of our users or members of the public including acting in urgent circumstances; or to (iv) protect against fraud or to conduct risk management.
Data Sharing: If your information is transferred or shared as described in this Privacy Policy, we will seek assurance from the recipients of such information (prior to the transfer) that they will safeguard the information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. We ask recipients of such information to enter into a contractual relationship with us that includes confidentiality and non-disclosure clauses and provides the same level of commitment to and protections of information as provided in this Privacy Policy.
7. Managing Your Information
Survey Respondents and Phoebe Administrators: Phoebe collects information at the direction of Phoebe Clients and has no direct relationship with the Survey Respondents whose Personal Information it processes. If you are either a Survey Respondent or a Phoebe Administrator and would no longer like to be contacted by the applicable Phoebe Client, please contact the Phoebe Client directly. Additionally, if you want to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate Personal Information you have provided in connection with a survey or in connection with your Phoebe Administrator account, you should direct your query to the Phoebe Client. If we are requested by the Phoebe Client to correct, amend, or remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Retention of Your Contact Information and Other Information: We will retain and use information we receive or collect about you for as long as needed to provide you with the Services. We will retain and use this information for the purposes for which it was collected (as specified in this Privacy Policy or as we disclose to customers outside of this Privacy Policy), including to provide the Services to you, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Your information may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for additional time and/or as aggregated, non-personally identifying information.
Promotional, Marketing Communications from Us: If you do not wish to have your name and email address used by us to promote our own products or Services, you can opt-out by clicking the unsubscribe function located at the bottom of the email or by sending us an email stating your request support@phoebeinsights.com. We will continue to send you transaction confirmation emails and other Service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our Services are temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt out of these communications.
Tracking Technologies: All browsers are different, so visit the “help” section of your browser to learn about cookie preferences and other privacy settings that may be available. For example, you can manage cookie preferences set by Phoebe by adjusting the settings in your browser not to accept cookies. If your browser is set to reject cookies, Phoebe will not be able to provide you with personalized features on its Services. The Services do not honor “Do Not Track” requests from browsers. Targeted Advertising: Phoebe may work with a variety of advertising networks that customize and serve third party advertisements or other content on Phoebe Services. The servers of these advertising networks place and access cookies and other similar technologies in browsers to collect information about your visits to Services in order to serve targeted advertising. Information collected via the data collection technologies described in this section may be linked to other information about you and may be considered Personal Information. We do not control these third parties’ data collection technologies or their use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, they may provide you with ways to opt out from having your information collected of used in this way. 8. Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All data collected or received from Phoebe Clients and their Survey Respondents is encrypted in transit using https:// technology and is then stored in a secure data center. Any Personal Information collected or received is minimized, obfuscated, and stored separately from general Survey Response data.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information that is transmitted to us through our Services. Any transmission of information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained via our Services.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
9. International Users and Data Transfers
If you are a resident of the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your information. The use of information collected through our Services shall be limited to the purpose of providing the Service for which the Phoebe Client has engaged Phoebe Organizational Insights, LLC.

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page with a notice that this Privacy Policy has been updated on our Website’s homepage. You are responsible for periodically visiting our Website and this Privacy Policy to check for any changes. Continued use of our Services and Website following notice of any changes shall indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.
